Country: | for our Troops just a thought sent to me recently, although I am not big at all for causes with this and that ~ but something to think about. I've already got red hair or what is left of it so every day I am set. Might be a good remembrance of our friends, familie, guys like Chris, Dan, and Eric that have served already and more are going to ............ a nephew is over there in the Scouts and others that have grown up through the Boy Scout ranks, etc ........
support THEM !
Red Fridays.
Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing
Red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support
our troops used to be called the "silent majority." We
are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for
God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We
are not organized, boisterous or overbearing.
Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends,
simply want to recognize that the vast majority of
America supports our troops. Our idea of showing
solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and
respect starts this Friday -- and continues each and
every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a
deafening message that ... every red-blooded American
who supports our men and women afar, will wear
something red.
By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United
States on every Friday a sea of red much like a
homecoming football game in the bleachers. If every
one of us who loves this country will share this with
acquaintances, coworkers, friends, and family, it will
not be long before the USA is covered in RED and it
will let our troops know the once "silent" majority is
on their side more than ever, certainly more than the
media lets on.
The first thing a soldier says when asked "What can
we do to make things better for you?" is ..."We need
your support and your prayers." Let's get the word out
and lead with class and dignity, by example, and wear
something red every Friday.
IF YOU AGREE -- THEN SEND THIS ON.
IF YOU COULDN'T CARE LESS -- THEN HIT THE DELETE BUTTON.
IT IS YOUR CHOICE.
WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, ONLY BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE!!
v/r Erich ~ |

Country: | Want to make a real difference. Vote. And not for the no plan, mealy mouthed "we support the troops but not the mission", hate Bush liberals. Vote with intelligence and not with your emotions. You know whom I'm talking too.

And the nearly all of them have never or will never serve a single day in their lives. Makes me itch for compulsory military service.

Country: | As long as we don't see any posted pics of Dan wearing a red thing!
I will be proudly wearing red this friday, and each subsequent one. It will add to the American flag and POW flag that fly in front of my house every single day. I am proud of my country and my service. I am even prouder that there are fine young men today carrying on the tradition of service.

Country: | I haven't even got anything red!
And living in France, as I do, they'd only think I'd finally converted to their politics... Pity they chose that colour - any reason why?

Country: | Scottish? Yaagh!
It'd be an idea to produce those rubber bracelet things that are very popular in Europe at the moment, proceeds in favour of VFW/American Legion/British Legion/Aussie equivalent/etc... Get some cash into the kitty to use when some of the people need it when they're back.
