| Not many people realize that the Jordanians had a civil war with the Palestinians in 1970, killing them by the thousands.
When I was in Indonesia in the 90's, I would often ask 'the natives" there who were anti Israel, if they knew anything about the middle east conflict. In a nutshell, the were uniformly complete ignoramous's about anything there.

Country:  | I guess you had to be there when the Israelis were driving their armoured vehicles into Lebanon during the 1980s giving the UN the finger a pretty "tough bunch" on there heroic mission if they ever had to fight an equally armed and led force they wouldn't be so cocky. Country: | frankly I think the Palestinian/Israeli thing has been pretty quiet even with Hammas getting the rule. Still the orgainization has to prove itself if it can on a more peaceful note, but will the Jewish State allow or are able to wait that long ?
