Well, here it finally is. The government has finally begun to seriously debate it in parliament after all these years. Could Québec soon become the Scotland of Canada, so to speak? A nation within a nation?

Yeah, Québec already is a distinct society, it's just that no one has ever officially recognized it. The key phrase here is "within Canada". Could get a little dicey. | |

Today, that f*cknut of Duceppe said that he would prefer Harper to say : "A nation still within Canada" rather than "A nation within Canada".
