Country: | Racial issues As the mayoral elections draw near, it has been noted that a lot of articles written in the newspapers are racially charged and divisive i.e., white vs. black vs. Hispanic articles. This is something that needs to be checked at once. The encouragement of racial differences in a community will never serve to make all the people feel comfortable living together. And more than anywhere else in the United States, racial division is a great issue in the city of Dallas. The discourse between races is not something that must happen in this modern age of ours. In fact the issue of racial divides in the city is a major topic in the election agendas of most Dallas Mayor Campaigns.
The racial discord in Dallas is a stereotype purported by a few people who do not get out much and need to sell papers or fix elections. Such an attitude can be forgiven in an older generation. In the present generation, however, such issues must not be allowed to surface. The problem is that young people have not voted historically, although steps are being taken so that does not happen in the next year’s elections. The establishment does not depend on new voters; it depends on the same people voting and only those people voting.
The bridging of racial and political divides is one of the main issues in the campaign agendas of Dallas mayoral candidate Darrell Jordan. Darrell Jordan promises to heal the city of Dallas and welcome to the table all that are truly dedicated to solving problems. Darrell Jordan also promises to be a mayor who listens to differing views with full respect for the city's diversity. |

Country: | I am far from rascist but something that I have noticed is this. Rascism will never stop until those that are being hurt the most by rascism stop there rascism as well.
I will leave it at that before someone gets the wrong idea.

Country: | Its much more complicated than that, i dont know where to start on the "first nations" , but the Afgahni and Lebonese population in Edmonton i have despised for a while, and its not because of the 911 syndrome, its the fact that alot of these people are very violent and destructive, they just love to reek havoc on the kids in the NiteClubs and the highschools as well, the point im getting across is that Racism or discrimination, doesnt just stem from hatred of other cultures or religion, but it also stems from the other "parties" actions and behavior.

Country: | My wife grew up in southern India and went to school there - she was as
unbiased a person as I ever met, which was part of her charm. However,
after returning to America and spending a few years in the work force,
her attitude has greatly changed, sad to say. And no matter how noble
you try to be, after repeated ugly or just stupid treatment by the minorities
who claim the most harm from prejudice, you just start seeing them in a different light. |

Country: | No one can't deny that at one time there was EXTREME racism within the US. While it still exist, its too the point where the average "minority" has the capability to take legal action if discrimination is present in most critical situations, and with that I'm speaking in terms of employment, education housing, etc. The problem is many minorities are now taking advantage of the situation and play the racist card when they are legitimately denied something.
Many years ago I applied for a government grant while in college. My parents weren't rich and things were a bit tight in our household. I got rejected for this grant 2 or 3 times for one thing or another - finally (through a suggestion from a friend) I put on the application I was a minority (I have an Hispanic last name). Low and behold that application got approved quicker than you could say lightning - all becuase some liberal bureaucrat has labeled me a minority because of my last name....

Country: | Well lets see my first acts as chancellor:
1. Kick out all free loading foriegners.
2. Give the work force back to the Germans.
3. Get rid of the part in the constition that says that Germany can not attack other countries (dont worry I dont want to invade anyone except the French, but then I can help out the allies more like England and the US)
4. Pay Raises for everyone.
5. Invade France.
6. Abolish the the French Language and send the Eifel Tower to Las Vegas, USA as a gift of friendship.
7. Pull out of France and let them rebuild.
8. As soon as they have rebuilt, invade them all over again.
9. Sit back and read all the letters of thank yous and good job from the rest of the world.
10. Bann Hip Hop music and name pbfoot the Minister of Music. ****Disclaimer**** All citizens of France and all members of this forum who happen to be French, this was just a joke. Dont take it personal and please dont be offended.
These views expressed in this joke are also not neccessarily the views expressed by the moderators and members of www.ww2aircraft.net
I had to put that in there or there would certainly be discourse in this thread.
