I dont think this type of rioting can happen in the US or Canada. Our countries are far more open armed about immigration than Europe is (UK excepted).

It seems the number one grievence is lack of jobs. The US and Canada are far better at putting those malcontents to work than the welfare states of Europe.

Plus we have guns to fire back at them.

To be honest guys, I don't think they'll be rioting here in the UK because our immigrant population has little to riot about. They have homes, jobs and to an extent, a place in society.

Which is exactly what the Muslims of France want, but don't have.

I don't believe that the UK should let in everyone who wants to come here; the rock we live on simply isn't big enough. But the people we have let in have not been marginalised, like French Muslims. The way France treats it's immigrant population is downright racist and utterly despicable. Has everyone forgotten how many immigrants have died in France in the last 6 months through being packed into unsafe government -sponsored accomodation? They might be immigrants, but they're also humans. And if you keep on treating people like crap, they're going to lash out from time to time. It happened in the UK in the 1980s (Brixton, Broadwater etc. ) and we learnt from it. We integrated our ethnic communities to a far greater extent than any other country in Europe, and we've been fine ever since.

I really don't think these people want a caliphate of Europe, or for Osama to come and proclaim himself king, or even to kill Westerners. I think they just want to be treated like humans again.

agreed, we got hit once with our pants down so it could happen again, southern borders have been wide open for too many years and you can figure what has crept up your underside in California since 9-11. We have the scum here in oregon just waiting for some silly so-called purpose to rise up in unison to strike. Funny the little turds have not been smart enough to set upon small unproteected little towns in the states, the aiming point for much more publicity would be to strike the large communes though more of an impact on smaller communities; everyone would be in fear and suspicion would abound.

some of you guys really need to get real, the Muslims want ALL of us off this planet and it isn't just the jews. complacincy is what got Europe in the fix that it is, with these folk. like plan said, send them back, work ethics, jobs or not. they have freedom that they have learned through western civilization and it's time for them to head back to their natural homes and make a difference instead of bitching that they have it so bad and that life isnt fair.........

I think the cents are being wasted elsewhere as well Erich. The fact that you slap foot down and ignore the post I made altogether is part of the problem we have with the Muslim world. The West isn't willing to enter into a dialogue with the East - they just want to keep pointing a gun at it's head. I grew up with Muslims and have a number of Muslim friends, and they dont want me or anyone else dead. They deplore these fanatics as much as we do. But while the rhetoric of the West continues to paint ALL Muslims as sucide-bombing fanatics, we're only going to make this problem worse. Unless we start admitting that we helped to cause the problem (by the mandating of Middle Eastern territory in the 1920s, by the creation of Israel in 1948, by continued support for Saudi Arabia, destroying the natural balance of power in the area), we will never be able to find a solution that doesnt involve the two sides slaughtering each other.
