I agree with that point Adler, and I never have or will condone violence as an extension of politics. But that applies equally to both sides. Until one side (and Im not fussed which one it is), puts down the guns, there will be no dialogue. But if the West simply carries on invading Middle Eastern countries, we shouldn't be surprised that the East keeps fighting.

Much the same problem existed in Ireland. But once the British acknowledged that the murderers were in fact a small lunatic fringe, and bypassed them by going to the table and discussing the big issues openly, the lunatics soon ran out of freinds on thier own side. I see the Middle East panning out the same way... we just need to take that first step.

beleive what you will Bomb and I am not putting all Muslims into the same lump as you might think there are plenty Isaraelis I could kick butt as well. I have read the Koran and know what it says about us Gentiles, and I was stationed over in the mideast for a length of time so I am quite up on the insurgent stuff over the many many years. all i can say is protect your 6. yourbackyard in England maybe next and the freinds you call that you grew up with or live next door to you might have a firebomb in their hands.

foolish as it may sound to many of you young folk, Europe could really be at a starting stage for a heat up

The East keeps on fighting, they started it. If the West lays down our weapons they will continue to kill our women and children. I put it this way. An Eye for and Eye.

I agree while I was in the middle east I did not trust a single one of them. Never turned my back on them or there damn sheep.

I still agree with the notion...........get a frickin job. Talking via diplomacy is not the cure all that we hope it was going to be over the century's.
the point remains the Muslim world has worked itself into the facet of most of our beings in europe whether we like it or not. Living in a war free world is impossible for the time. Bomb I hope you will remain friends with those that abhor what is going on in the name of Allah and that they reamin friends with you, but I sincerly doubt it will last much longer ..........

just to point out I've talked to both sides. I apoligize pbfoot for blowing you off. I was in Israel and Jordan in 1979 and through the early 80's on assignment and I won't tell you what. so yes there is an admission of ill feelings really for both sides, one killing the other, power for monies, land and what is rightfully theirs, trying to keep peace and working to an arrangement where both parties are going to promise (ha !) work together.

you see gentlemen how the mysterious aura of intrigue has infiltrated to the west ? we are being duped all of us especially our governments to a soft side of compassion not knowing whom carries the knife at our backside and when it will be plunged deep.

Talk to those on both sides. I fought the other side and you know what you are write the Press is very onesided and that side is the islamist extremist side.

Dont tell people that they need to travel and learn. I live in Germany. Do you know what they do over here. Do you know how they want us to change everything in our lives to accomodate them but if you go to there there world they will not budge for you. I see this all over Europe. I have been to the Middle East and you know what I have learned since being there? That we are better off without it. It should be a lake.

erich the ony way to desribe that area is lunacy its a tie for stubborness it should be fenced off arm them equally and may the best team win (always thought it would be great reality tv show)

pbfoot the idea was put forth before the council in Isreal already. We in a very stealth way tried d to implant two leaders from each side armed with a baseball bat in a barbed wire fence and let the two leaders fly at each other ....... U can imagine the response; pretty bloody negative.......and it is not a TV reality show in the kindest way, it is brutal and has been going on way too long and will continue to do so.

Unfortunately I feel personally we are going to see it here more and more through the west and we will get so accustomed to it we will remain cold, watching unbelieving as our neighbors, friends and familie get shredded, blown apart, injured in the name of some lame cause
