| Curious about the alleged corruption factor of whatever current music the old farts are complaining about at a given time. I've heard this lame arguement since the 50s with Elvis right through to 50 Cent today. Jitterbug music lovers were the corrupt ones before that and of course the 1920s flappers and etc, etc.

Country: | Music does not corrupt the youth. If they are corrupted, they were before they listened to the music and I blaim that on the parents for not raising there children better.

However, I can tell you that most f*cked up kids listen to Rap... I don't know why, that's only something I noticed.
When we got the teenage prostitution scandals here (one in Québec and an other one in Montréal), the pimps who were arrested had contacts within the "Rap culture". And their prostitutes were mostly "recruited" during Rap/Hip Hop events. |

Country: | I can not stand rap, I absolutely hate it, and I dont like the lyrics or the message they are trying to betray in it, but I still dont think that rap really influences people. If they are going to mug someone, or not do anything with there life just for example they are going to do that anyhow.

Country: | I can't stand Rap/Hip Hop either.
A personnal note : Did anyone ever noticed how popular Hip Hop dance is with young girls ? And how... how... vulgar... no, it not the right term... how slutty that kind of dance is ? I mean, if girls taking Hip Hop lessons don't end up making some bad video clips for some bad rappers, they'll end up dancing around a pole in a club.
As I said, I don't think music corrupt younth... But lack of attention from their parents does ! |

Country: | If we're talking about queer, Queen must be the top of the list. Freddie Mercury dancing around in leather's, peak chained cap and a hairy under his nose. Now that's gay, but............they never preach about his gayness (FM was hated by the gay community), they just did it for fun People never turned gay because of Queen or Freddie Mercury, in fact woman just loved him....
Plus a poll was conducted here last year about the best gig ever. Who won?
Queen at Live Aid
