They forget they live and work in a make believe world of fantasy and film scripts and movie glich and glamour. Dealing with the real world is beyond them until they are stripped of their roles and movie careers and have to make real decissions themselves like every day people in the world do on a daily basis. The one thing I would find ridiculous is some one like Jane fonda for example coming up to me expressing the idealism of Communism whilst she is attired in one of her Hollywood creations from Hollywood and Vine. Or Sean Penn trying to enlighten me about Islamic Fundamentalism. Or Alec Baldwin expressing freedom from tyranny
I am reminded of an Old John Wayne Movie called Big Jake. So help me I will shoot the next one who says that to me | They really get the blood boiling. I heard Tim Robbins tell a reporter (who questioned him on his political views) that he should enlist in the military because it seems like he supported the war in Iraq.

| "Hi, I'm Sean Penn. I make millions in Hollywood which insulates me from reality. I also have a following of people who tell me how wonderful I am at all times. If I said 'Black is White, Night is Day', they would believe it and parrot it. I live in an alternate reality of my own making." |

If a LibTard tries that crap on me I tell them that Al-Qaeda is recruiting or that he can be a Human Shield.
Don't take that stuff from those ignorant LibTards. |

Huh, Tim Robbins supported the war? Even on the "seems" side, I really don't get it.
The dude is a marxist on a good day and just your average turd on a bad one.
Supported the war? Somebody explain this to me as I'm missing it. |

Country: | 'As actors, it is our responsibility to read the newspapers, then say it like it's our own opinion' After watching Team America countless times, I don't think I'll ever take Sean Penn and the like seriously ever again!
Or if they really wanted to change the world, they could donate their multi million fee from their next film direct to charity. Just a thought. |

I'm not sure of the specifics - but that sounds about right. Conservative Americans are likely religious, and charity is a duty for Christians... imagine that - helping out your fellow man instead of hording your riches and smearing the gov't for not caring for the poor.

Donate more time and money, are more considerate of others views (lib bumper stickers tend to not set them off while conservative bumper stickers are an invitation to have your car keyed).
As an open question, why exactly do we need libs in the first place? What benefit do they bring to a society? I sometimes wonder. |
