Country: | Sean Penn Saw Sean Penn on the news 2 days ago putting the bag on the USA or more so on President Bush Policies. He was sucking up to the to Chevaus. Kind of reminded me of Jane Fonda in Hanoi. And we have another ****ing loser here recently called Matt Damon. Christ pathetic actors with a political malice of stupidity as an agenda. Damon also made some swaggering remarks about James Bond Movies. Those James Bond Movies will be remembered when Damon is in his crib at the actors guild and retirment village dribbling salvia out of his mouth like a drooling canine to a bone. Any way your thoughts on Penn and Damon and why do some US Actors find it necassary to go to a foriegn country to make absolute fools of themselves on a world stage? |

Sean Penn is dumber than a bag of cement
And I wouldn't mind putting my fist in his face.

Country: | Like most entertainers, these mentioned all passed up higher education to join show biz. Their only claim to fame is to effectively protray somebody who they aren't. They also received their world vision and philosophy from people who also specialize in portraying people they are not or people who create events that never happened. It is amazing how many weak minded people actually think these people are knowledgeable and are worth listening to.

Country: | And they tend to be more than a little loopy. Getting paid 10 million bucks to stand in front of a camera and rattle off a few lines has got to put the whack on your head. A lot of these guys are decent to good actors. But make the mistake of thinking that carries over to other endevours. Not even close. Sean Penn is a High School educated dupe. Matt Damon is better educated, but I've not heard anything come out of either of their mouths that impressed me. Just noise.
Or as my brother used to say, "Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got them and they all stink". So do Matt and Sean's. |

Country: | Ever notice that Actors that make these assinine statements
rarely have any time in the real military....Another good argument
for bringing the DRAFT back....Heck, I think that it is about time.
Americans don't have half the confusion in electing a President,
Senator or any other elected official, when they can honestly say
'I have led men in combat' or 'I have put my life on the line to
protect America and what it stands for'.....Some one push me off this soap
box before I start frothing at the mouth....
Only good movie S Penn and Tom 'LRON lover' Cruise have made was
TAPS.

Country: | The only "lefty" actor I'm aware of that spent time in the military and seen some combat was Chris Christofferson.

Country: | This is Hanoi Jane Syndrome. Ever since she vomited 30 some years ago, in addition to making bad movies, some of these 'actors' have to make a statement to feel important.
It might be that we're slowly realizing they're just actors and really hold no signifigant part in the world unlike years ago when starlets and the like were held in high esteem. And they don't like that premise.

Country: | One I don't care if some one has a differing political view from my own. I except that as part of being in a democracy. But what I do find a bit hard to contend with is some one going over seas to a foriegn country like Penn has and quiet readily puts the **** into your own country. Its one thing having a political view point its quiet another going arrogantly and ignorantly displaying your self as a clown in some one elses country so the host of that country can use the opinions of that of Penn etc as a political stunt towards the USA. Penn had said in his interview that he as a journalist was going to investigate Chavas's country. 2 things wrong with that Penn isn't a journalist and Chevas would only show Penn what he needed to see. hence no journalism or reality would be shown. Penn in my opinion has the intelligence of a Rain Forest. Thick and Dense. As for Matt Damon I find him a rather pretensious boy and he bootlicks others in the Film Actors Guild to emulate some one like Alec Baldwin. None of these actors I have mentioned have in my opinion actually been in the common areas of actual political life or mixed with the common people in the world.or experienced real life that wasn't staged in front of a battery of cameras and sound recordists. And yet they think they can comment on world events with some sort of clarity and experience. And quiet a few of these actors have experimented with drugs and alcohol abuse. How much sense would one get from a person with their thinking skewed by drugs and alcohol is beyond comprehension |

But don't tell them that! After all they read scripts about the French and Russian Revolution - they were on scene in Tanzania, living in air conditioned trailers while the finest food was brought out to them; They also got to see the countryside - inside an air conditioned Hummer.
They are all full of sh!t.

They are all full of sh!t. | And I agree Jim. Most of the Hollywood type have no idea inside or outside a bag of cement. They forget they live and work in a make believe world of fantasy and film scripts and movie glich and glamour. Dealing with the real world is beyond them until they are stripped of their roles and movie careers and have to make real decissions themselves like every day people in the world do on a daily basis. The one thing I would find ridiculous is some one like Jane fonda for example coming up to me expressing the idealism of Communism whilst she is attired in one of her Hollywood creations from Hollywood and Vine. Or Sean Penn trying to enlighten me about Islamic Fundamentalism. Or Alec Baldwin expressing freedom from tyranny
I am reminded of an Old John Wayne Movie called Big Jake. So help me I will shoot the next one who says that to me |
