In some places I believe it has already begun. They are going the right about losing al their support, soon (and this will be a good thing) everyone will hate them and maybe (however unlikely) they will see the error in their ways.

Country: | I saw on the news at lunch that a bunch of people in Amman were demonstrating against Zarqawi and calling for his head. That's a positive sign.

Country: | The only problem about the Arab system collapsing and turning on itself is ...a load more will come over to Britain and Europe.

Country: | The system wont collapse though. The terrorists will become hated in thier own communities. And just as happened in Ireland, thier support will wither to nothing and they will be left with no recourse but to lay down their arms and come to the table. Then maybe we can sort this out without anybody else having to die.

I have been to the middle east and the majority of those countries support these thugs and they will never come to the table. They will never be hated in there communities and it wil not end.

Country: | The U.S hasn't got half the problem with Islam spreading through it like cancer than Europe does. Because the U.S is too busy bending over backwards for other minorities.
The only reason the Middle East hasn't destroyed the Western World is because they haven't got the military capability to do so. It is a war - right now ...and the only thing holding back the Western World are those that can't grasp the concept of war. If we destroyed them (Don't have to kill them all ...just knock them on their knees) and stopped them coming into the Western World - it's a nice safe world again.

They inevitably end up killing the people they claim to represent, and then their communities turn on them. If they keep pulling stunts like this one in Amman, killing the Arabs that the claim to fight for, that point is gonna come very soon.
And to respond to pD, it isnt letting them in thats the problem. Its letting the wrong ones in that causes the trouble. To cut off our cultural intercourse with the Arab world would be a tragedy - just look at how much we have benefitted from them in the last thousand years. If the Blairite 'government' (I use the term very loosely) stopped letting in the genuinely dangerous fanatics, and deported the ones who are already here, the mess we're in wouldnt be half so nasty. Islam is no more inherently evil than Christianity, Judaism or Buddhism. But Western governments are taking the easy way out and tarring all Muslims with the same brush instead of actually tackling the threat. Saying all Muslims are evil because some Muslims are terrorists is on the same logical turf as saying all Christians are evil because some Christians were Nazis or Stalinists. Its stupid, and while we persist in this belief, we'll keep missing the real threats and getting hurt for it.
