Now having said that, they are entitled to live the way they want and there customs are there customs and I respect that. Now having said that the world would be a better place without the Middle East.

When I went public with my views in several newspapers, The Anti-Defamation League tried to shut me up. They wrote to the TWA Chief Pilot GMF) at JFK and asked him to do something about me. I got hauled in to the office and we had a talk. I explained that I never mentioned TWA in any of the letters, and therefore I was not in violation of TWA Policy, but merely a citizen excercising my rights to free speech and press.
I kept writing, much to the chagrin of the ADL. They continued to attempt to shut me up or get me fired another 3 times, with each letter getting more hysterical in its tone. I was a wife beater, child abuser, alcoholic, etc.. Me with a wondreful wife and 6 great kids.
They were obviously libelous, so I requested copies. When the GMF asked why, I told him I intended to sue, or press criminal charges (Libel is a crime in NY).
He then grabbed the letter, refused my request, and told me to stop, or else, without being specific. I kept it up, and the ADL quit, but then I got letters directly to me from The Jewish Defense Organization, which was actually a copy of The Jewish Defense League after they were declared a terrorist organization.
I was threated with my life, my home would be destroyed, my children raped and murdered, a bomb would be placed in my car, etc.. I got the FBI into this at that point, and a Special Investigator was assigned. That did it, the threats ceased and the culprits fled.
I've glossed over many details here for the sake of brevity and civility. It was ugly. Despite it all, I retired as a L-1011 Captain after 30 years at age of 56.
