Country: | You find most people that have British food enjoy it. I do say most because I know of a few Americans who had one or two meals that were truly British ...and really weren't too keen. The breakfast can get a lot of 'em ...if it's full!
The people who think the British have crap food are normally people who have never been to Britain and never had British food.

Country: | I agree pD even though I do think that an American Breakfast is better than a British breakfast. I do love British Breakfasts though. The many times that I have been to England I have allways enjoyed the food though. It is not my favorite but I find it quite good.

Country: | I love a full English breakfast, but I have to fast the evening prior if I'm going to really enjoy it. It's a lot. I wouldn't eat that way everyday though. Heart stopper city! |

no the cornish pasty is a tradional cornish food and still very popular today, they were thought to originate as a way of wives sending their husbands off to the mines for the day (cornwall is famous for it's tin mining) with a substantial meal, which involved placing diced up meat and potato (amoungst other things) in one end of the pasty, and some form of desert in the other end, the whole thing being enclosed in a pastry wrapping, meaning you can baisically eat a whole meal with one hand! nowadays it's just the meat part in a pasty however the cornish are very passionate about them, i cannot even begin to tell you, you'd have to come to cornwall to really apprechaite one........ http://www.cornwall-online.co.uk/history/pasty.htm
any other questions about them? i've barely touched the surface.....
