Fantastic post Emac. Just want to add a few more.

Christians, Jews and several other faiths don't happen to look upon non-believers in a hateful way. They may try to change or convert to their faith but never by violent means. One of the first duties of most faiths is Love Thy Neighbor and you start from there. These Muslim extremists say "if you don't believe in how I believe, death to you." Check out the history of the Sunni and Shiite tribes in Iraq and you will see child-like wimpering and posturing.

The ACLU is dangerous but its downright terrorfying when the Congress starts playing these games. Thats what has got me in an uproar. I have no problem RESPECTING anyone's religion but let's play fair. Last year I watched a middle school holiday show where they sang Jewish songs, Kwanzaa songs, etc but no Christian songs because the school wanted the seperation of church and state. Christmas trees were being called "holiday trees". That is the insanity.

Recognize Ramadan. Celebrate Vishnu. But be fair.

And speaking of that. Nowhere in our Constitution does it say "Seperation of Church and State". I believe that was a concept brought about in Thomas Jefferson papers after we cut the imbelical cord with the UK.

(Jeez, my spelling is atrocious!)

Of course Njaco I agree about your take on aspects of Christianity and Jews. However I forgot to say this as well. Christ taught us to turn the other cheek. But he never said we were to be door mats either Njaco. To many think Christians in particular are weak on self defense as per say the turning of the other cheek etc. Reality is far different. There is something else they forget. Render onto Caesars which is Caesars, Render onto God's which is Gods. the Children of the Cross can be loving and forgiving and if we are moved to violence in defense or attack we are labled hipocrits. But we answer to God's Judgement not Man's Njaco in the spiritual world we place our faith in as Christians

Exactly my point, Emac. Most religions are Loving and FORGIVING. I have never seen another religion where murder is part of the precepts.

One of the major differences between these Christian religions is that Christ died on the Cross for the worlds sins. Muslim extremists believe THEY must die for the world's sins. Thats why they have numerous followers to conduct suicide bombings in addition to the brain-washing of their youth, brought up in a culture of hatred and they really don't understand why.

And when the vast majority of Muslim members do nothing about it, that is where the crime is. And not just the Middle East. You've got Farrakhan and others over here shouting "Hymie Town" and other racist filth in the name of their religion. And Congress wants to honor that?

I know Njaco. though as Christians we do bare the guilt of what occured in Europe through the age. Spanish Inquistion Crusades etc etc. Christians of then are similar in aspects to what Islamic Fundamentalists are today in some aspect Njaco but not all I must add. And yes we do have Christian Fundamentalist Groups and extreme right winged Zealots who claim to be Christians. But overall the message most Christians carry is of peace. Love thy neighbour as thee love thy self etc. And blessed is the peace maker. For such as he will inherit the Kingdom of God. But admittedly the message at times does get lost Njaco. But I do understand what you are saying. But as I said with Congress commending Islam that to me is part of the Spiritual Warfare God warned us about. I am unsure if you know what I mean by this but you possibley do as I don't doubt your intelligence for one minute. As for the that ridiculous Civil Liberty organisations they earn their places in the sight of God Njaco and justice and their punishment will be theirs in vast quantities and I am definitely sure you know what I mean by that. Any way Njaco that is my faith I have in My Lord God and Jesus Christ as a Christian. But I have to admit. My Minister once said of me. That I was what one would call a Fighting Christian. It matters little if it Spiritual Warfare I was in or Physical WarFare. I had a faith in God that would fight through what ever was I had to do but place my faith in Christ. That is why my Minister said I was a Fighting Christian. Minister said I had unusual qualities for a Christian. Had the most bizzare sense of humour my Minister claimed he had ever seen. I suspect you have witnessed some of the replies on this website I have said on occassions. But Njaco there are Christians like me. (Bloody well hope so. I am in real strife it there isn't ). Who are also Fighting Christians as well. rest assured my friend we take up the Spiritual Armour Shields and Weapons supplied by God. And at times we take up the weapons of Man to defend our homes our families and most importantly our faith and our country

Oh good I do hope its faith in Christ that gets your through your day Njaco. If it was my sense of humour that helped you through your day. Both you and I are in deep doodoo

Sorry mate can't help myself at times. i must relate something to you Njaco. I was at my Church at the Alter Rail. Was in definite need of guidance faith prayers and just to know God was nearby. Cut a long story I was in the middle of my divorce from my ex Wife. However here I was prayering with my Minister and several other Christians. And right in the middle of all these prayers in popped this vision into my head. I was being served Pork Chops by Lord Jesus Christ as the honoured guest at his table. I could see Jesus as I envisioned him as he appears to the way I believe he looks and he was saying come eat at my table my honoured faithful man. I know you are weary and I will give you peace and rest. Just trust in me. Come and eat as I serve you. I related all this to my Minister as the vision and the words reverberated inside my head. Course my Minister said that I had been blessed with a message and a vision. After some short interval I remarked to my Minister about the Vision and the words. I said I find it really strange I would have this vision etc. He asked why. I replied How is it possible. Last time I knew Jesus was Jewish and here is he serving me Pork? My Minister just looked at me and began laughing. He said only I would ever think of something like that. Yes my faith gets me through my day to Njaco and also helps to have a weird sense of humour as well

No it definately does. And its because of it that makes me angry with whats goning on. I was brought up in a household of faith and to respect other's faiths. To be fair with one another. To fight when its really important and choose those battles.

Some things just irk me like a Congress that honors a Muslim holiday while at the same time working to remove the word God from official papers.

Though there are some victories. I'm gonna try to find the news article but just the other day a school here in the states successfully won the right for a moment of silence in its classrooms. About time! Allowing one to pray to his or her god or gods in the morning or even not at all, gives me a warm feeling. Thats the way to honor religions of the world and the diversity of faith in the US. Maybe things are changing alittle.

It will Njaco. Sometimes change comes slowly. The mind of the thick headed takes a little longer of course. But think of it this way. Every challenge towards God you have mentioned only increases your own faith as well. Instead of being angry at the Godless mindless. Praise God for giving you the opportunity to strengthen your faith in him. Turn the attacks of the enemy into a positive towards God. Turn that anger into Praise for God. God thank you for showing me that the sins of man are still current. The attacks by the Godless are apparent and Satan has sway in this world. I take this anger and turn it into Praise for you and strenghtening my faith. I see the enemy but he has no power over me. And I thank you my Lord God in Jesus Christs name. You and I just made a prayer my old mate. Hope you don't mind Njaco.

Any way better to Honour God then Politicans Njaco
