USA's weird Immigration Process explained by Maestro...
So you want to live in the USA, eh ? Great ! But first, I suggest you to read what I found out on different immigration sites. (I put my comments in
Italical.)
When you type "Green Card" on Google, you can find a lot of sites about American immigration.
The first that I clicked on was :
United States Green Card Lottery, USA Green Card Online Application Services
On that site, there is a kind of lottery that allow 50,000 Wanna-be Americans to win a Green Card for free.
I tried the "Free Eligibility Test" but here is what I got when I clicked the "Submit" button :

Okay... So I'm screwed up on that part. However, there is a drop-down menu at the bottom of that page. Over it, there was a small paragraph :

On different immigration sites, I saw that there is a whole lot of Visas in the US. Here are a few of them (I had to translate them from French) :
Visa TN (visa for professionnals)
In order to get that type of visa, the professional must have a reserved job in a US company or work in the US for a Canadian employer.
Forget about it. Since I completed high school, I contacted several American employers (mostly gouvernmental) and they all ignored me... Except for the LAPD who told me that they could not consider me for a job because they would have to "push in the back" of the American gouvernment to get me a Green Card and that they were not allowed to do so. Strangely, the LAPD is the lone Police Department to have answered my E-mails... And I sent them to a lot of Police Departments. I even sent one in Detroit ! Visa L-1 (for peoples being transferred within a company) As you may have noticed, it's for peoples being transfered from a shop (for example) in a foreign country to the head office in the US. That Visa is offered to Canadians who make business in the US on their own or for Canadian companies.
Visa E2 or Investor
That Visa is offered to Canadian investors who spent a lot of money in a company.
There is also Visas for :
H1A - For certified nurses.
H1B - For specialised professionals with a completed University course OR artists*, actors, signers, sportsmen (sportswomen), and famous mannequins.
I wonder if writers are considered as "artists"... If so I may have found a weak spot that could allow me to go in... H2A - For farm labourers.
H2B - For temporary jobs that could not be done by American citizens.
H3 - For professional trainees in an American company or in a foreign company established on US ground.
L - For administrative staff of majors being transferred in US territory.
O - For nationally or internationally famous in sciences, arts or education.
It could be me, but I'm not famous... yet ! P - For artists, actors, signers and sportsmen (sportswomen) of international caliber.
Q - For peoples being in a cultural exchange program.
So in short, I'm screwed up unless a reporter puts the spotlight on an unknown writer from Québec having his books published with PublishAmerica and currently writing on the ww2aircraft.net forum.
Did I gave enough hints ? 
The easiest way for me would be to get married with a cute American girl. Anyone interrested ? Nah, I'm just kidding. Wedding is not for me.
