| I think neither of the two, it shoud be the man who had most impact in the emotion of the public: the pool was internet based, so the results are not coming from a thoughtful commission but rather from the 'gut feeling' of the people who surf the net.
Now in my opinion the interesting points of discussion are:
1 - why the 'general public' perceived as the 'man of the year' Chavez in first position and the Iranian guy as second?
2 - what is the world distribution of the people who answered the pool?
3 - Why Life 'chickened out' and decided to overrun the results of their own pool? In the past the title went to people like Hitler and Khomeini, so why worry about Chavez?
I know, this are not real points of discussion for the simple reason that we don't know the facts behind the numbers and the management decisions, but I would be interested in looking at the database (the complete one, with recorded IP and timing...)
