Votes for Amnesty in the Senate

Notice that more than half of the Republican senators voted against it, and that Clinton, Kerry, Kennedy and McCain voted for it. It's the liberals who really support it.:

"Two weeks ago, Senate leaders boasted that they had over 70 votes in favor of S. 2611. They fell well short of that number and the credit goes to all of you. Your Blast Faxes and calls changed some hearts and minds and you are still having a profound effect!

This legislation will now move to a House-Senate Conference Committee which will attempt to reconcile this Senate amnesty bill with the enforcement-only bill that has already passed the House of Representatives; and this shift in momentum has further emboldened House leaders who support securing our borders first to stand firm and has significantly increased the chances that the legislation that is eventually passed by our Congress will contain NO significant amnesty provisions.

However, a lot can still happen in the coming weeks, but you have our promise that we will continue the fight until this battle is won.

I don't think we need more illegal immigrats. Legal ones Si! Illegal? No. My wife of 47 years is an immigrant, and I had to go through a lot of paperwork through Embassies, and so did she. She was, and still is, a citizen of The Republic (BY God!) of Ireland.

Who are these Mexicans to place themselves above the law, and be immune to our laws?

I live in Brick NJ, and they even line up in a designated "Muster Zone". I live in a Condo and the association hires them to do yard work, and other chores, and they do it well, BUT, they pay no taxes, SS which herself had to pay into.

A local hospital is full of them. I suffered a heart failure last year, and after the Emergency operating room, I was placed in Intensive Care, and shared a small room with an illegal Mexican woman. She was diagnosed with a very minor fracture, and moaned continuously. Aside from that it turned out she was flea infested.

One of the doctors had the guts to speak up and tell her she shouldn't be here. "No comprende!" Apparently Senior Presidente Bush and a lot of Senators think "illegal" is a large sick bird, our national emblem.

If anything, she recieved preferable treatment to me thanks to a ball-bearing nurse, who spoke Spanish.

I was so damn mad I demanded to be released the same day I was admitted. "Oh no, you can't do that, we have to run tests" Iwas told. "Just watch me" I replied. I got out of the bed, and disconnected all the IV's, and started to put my clothes on.

My strong will prevailed, and I walked out under my own power. I haven't had a lick of trouble since. I'm retired, fully insured with medicare, AARP Supplement, etc., the proverbial "Cash Cow".
