I had short hair for the last 6 years because I was in the Army, but now that I am out of the Army I am growing my hair to the lenght that it was before I joined the Army which was almost to the small of my back. So that would make me not short haired.
After having to shave every day for the last 6 years I have grown out a full goatee again. So that would mean that I am not clean shaven.
I also have lots of tattoos and I have piercings.
So what I got from your message up there and correct me if I am wrong is that if you are not "short-haired, clean-shaven" you are not a respectibe person.
Just wondering because I happen to be a very successful law obiding friendly person...

Country: | Wrong reading of my post; I don't care what you look like, what my post meant is basically that if you DO look as I described, then these people who call others fascists are going to want to call you one. It's the red rag to a bull thing. They might find you less visually provokative with your long hair and beard, etc, sure, but the acid test lies in what you say!
Most of the senior NCOs I ever had dealings with had a faily visible collection of tattoos, too, although they were usually of the traditional Army-and-Navy style - roses with "Mother" beneath, and so on.
And if you think that looking like the perfect parade-ground soldier makes you automatically an effective soldier, then ask the Israelis.

One of my team was killed last Thursday. That's the 3rd since April.
I don't have time to think out a suitable reply. |

I don't have time to think out a suitable reply. | Here is a suitable reply: Noted and I apologize for calling a standing military member a fascist. Then start behaving.
I have stayed out until now, but now you are starting up again with the way you behaved in the past. Many of us have lost friends, but that does NOT give us the right to be abusive to other members of this board, or the moderators. If you have no suitable reply, how about just keeping your mouth shut? How about calming down and thinking about what you said? How about not saying anything at all if you are going to be abusive? How about finding another place to play?
You get the idea? Now, either behave or shove off. This is the LAST time I will say anything about this.

Country: | Hey Gentlemen,
Flew back from Missouri today. Thanks for the sendoff guys. Allow me to proclaim my newfound love of GPS. It was a blast. Got some good instrument time too on the way - got my cherry popped with my first actual instr approach and holding clearance.
Nice pic adler - makes me excited to start flying helos. I'll be putting in my selection card next week hopefully - so I'll let you all know what it is (Helos, Jets, V-22, C-130).
Read this good article in a local paper in Mo about Blair for UN Sec Gen - think he'd be a good guy - but not like he's going for that position. Writer blasted the UN, ended it with "the UN could do a lot worse than Mr Blair, and probably will."
I personally can't wait till kofi is out.
