What would happen if Vojvodina declares independence from Serbia? Would there be a as much support from other countries as it was for Kosovo?

Vojvodina itself has more rights for independence.

Thoughts? Cheers

I have to claim ignorance, Milos. But my position stands.. the US should not have established a position so quickly. As you well know, your question is rife with hidden implications. Tough question. Can we assume you would say absolutely not?

Well. already those idiots in Belgrade are calling us, people living Vojvodina, seperatists with plans to separate ourselves from Serbia. We, and I mean myself too, don't want to separate ourselves as a state, we want to be autonomous in economic sense. That's because all the money we make goes to Belgrade and almost nothing to us, but since all this Kosovo crap any thinking of that sort is now considered separatist. Personally I wouldn't mind Vojvodina becoming independent.

If Vojvodina do declares its independence, I don't know how much suport it would gain. All politicians, US in particular, keep saying that Kosovo was a special situation. I don't know, politics sucks.
