Country: | What wonderful new laws do you expect from a Clinton/Obama administration? After the wins by Clinton wins in Texas & Ohio, the media talking heads are talking now that a Hillary/Barak ticket might be inevitable because the two sides are so close to tied.
So I wonder what wonderful new laws the US public can expect from them once elected?

Country: | A higher tax for the rich and corporations that will eventually trickle down to the consumer with higher prices on goods that are outta this world.
New taxes for the Effort To Stop Global Warming or For Michael Moore's Wake - whichever comes first.
New taxes for providing healthcare for every country that borders the US and beyond.
New taxes to establish a new form of clean energy using zebra feces and Republican campaign signs.
New taxes because the old ones just were'nt good enough.
Free one way tickets for white people to the foreign country of their choice.
A new Office of Body Flatulence that will regulate and tax everyone's farts.
The abolishment of all political parties except the New Socialist Democratic party.
Removal of In God We Trust from all government papers and property to be relaced with In Liberals We Trust.
oh it would be a wicked world..............

Country: | An increase in US corporate tax, although US corporations have very high tax rates to begin with... not to mention the double tax since dividends are taxed again when distributed! Pure BS. Relieving corporate tax and the double tax will be a big boon to US business.

Country: | Honestly, to me the "don't ask, don't tell" policy is perfect for both sides of the argument. If we don't want discrimination against the homosexuals then they shouldn't be asked - "don't ask, don't tell" to me is saying that it doesn't matter, we don't care either way - just don't start shouting your mouth of about it and touching your fellow soldiers !!! If you permit them to have benefits and open advantages to being a homosexual then you start "postive discrimination" which is discrimination whatever you want to call it ... polish a turd, it's still turd ... call a shark a rose, it'll still bite your leg off.

| Don't know what they have in mind, but hopefully something to change the current trend of the US economy.
Currently we have USD totally devaluated (today was at 1,54 vs euro), interest rate kept artificially low to give some oxygen to a market who has no liquidity (a combination of things that is simply impossible to sustain in time) and a good half of the mess created by the 'finance engineers' still hidden in the banks.
That means very high risk of inflation and recession.
So, I hope that whoever will be at the White House will do something better than the current management, because a crash in the US economy will mean a crash in the whole western world.

They will make a law requiring advertisers to use 15-20% of the actors as " gravity challenged"
McDonalds is anticipating the new law and has started making some new commercials....

Country: | The sooner everyone learns that whoever is in the Whitehouse is not going to have much short term impact on the economy the better off we will be. The president gets too much credit when the economy goes well and too much blame when the economy does poorly. Remember, congress controls fiscal policy and the Fed controls monetary policy. The president can only make suggestions and do a little jawboning. If one does not understand that, one does not understand how the US government works. Even the Fed and congress have only limited impact on the economy. Our economy is like a giant super tanker. Once it gets moving a certain way it is going that way pretty much until the momentum in that direction is gone. We have not been in a recession since 2001. It is time for one again. |
