Country: | Well, Buck, not saying the Repubs are not a taxing lot but they tend to believe in less government whereas the Dems tax to provide more government.
There are times when I couldn't care for the bunch of them - donkey and elephant.

| I agree, Bush 2 has strayed from my views of what a tax cutting Republican should be, but as you say they should at least stand for smaller Government. I think todays crop of Republicans have forgotten what that means. | |

If McCain switches to Democrat, then it would be all clear for Hukabee.

Milos, most of the guys here don't want to see the Democrats in power for several reasons, raising taxes & spending too much money is one of them
Another is that Hillary especially is anti-military, when she lived in the White house with Bill she didn't like to see people in uniform, while Bill Clinton's cuts to the military affected the military as well
Also Obama or Edward's plan to pull out of Iraq as soon as possible will look to the world like defeat, as if they are leaving in disgrace
