Country: | You can count on it Matt. I have no liking for Homer Simpson or trading you for Harris Faulkner. If it came to a choice. The choice would be for Miss Faulkner every time. Sorry to disappoint Matt |

Country: | I picked a great topic to post my very first post- hmm-. I can't take more than a few minutes of either one of them. Rush- Something about a thrice married pain killer addict preaching to me about "moral values" has me in a knot. I listened to a little today believe it or not- He was making a very big issue on Obama's preacher. I guess he can't find any solid ground to stand on for REAL issues, so he makes filler time swift-boating for the uneducated masses. Seriously- He rants with no coherent direction or theme so much, he kinda sounds like he is STILL on the meds. How any sane person can take what that guy says as news or to form an opinion, I will never know. O'Reiley- I have never been able to get through a show with him because he absolutely will not let any guest with a differing opinion get a word in edgewise. He shouts them down without fail. Why even bother calling or being on his show?? If I ever met that guy in person I would just have to close his mouth for him.
What this world needs is less Rushs, Bills, Seans, Lauras, etc. with no other thought than the other guys are "liberals" and "hate America" BTW- It also needs less Republicans and Democrats. It needs educated voters who do not vote because Rush or James Dobson told them to AND politicians who are not under influence from corporations, special interests, or lobbyists but who make decisions based upon right and wrong and the interests of the greater good.
Now- Where are the Corsair forums?? |

| Rush rarely preaches about morals. People who say he does often dont listen to him.
Hes rock solid on his discussions often getting to the heart of the matter instead of dwelling on the periphery.
What we need is less liberal dominated media so the mess they have created the past 35 years can be cleaned up.
Rush is popular because the people who will vote conservative like his message. They dont need him to tell them how to vote. They already know how.
And how can we get educated voters when the schools are controlled by the liberal elites who fail to bring out the best in people?

As compared to that piece of Sh*t Keith Olbermann. He might as well be on Air America, but I guess MSNBC is just as far left.
Sean Hannity...OK but he let's his ideology get the best of him sometimes, as does Rush.
Ann Coulter is an idiot.
Did I miss anybody?

Maybe we should have a full poll with all the talk radio hosts.
I can't listen to Hannity, i don't like "shout shows" or too much rhetoric. Has anyone heard Tom Sullivan on Fox radio? I like his show. Also Brian & the Judge in the morning, they do alot of serious stuff, politics & such. I don't like to listen to tragedy or trash. I'm tired of Brittany, Anna Nicole, and cr@p like that, I change the channel. Does anyone listen to John Gibson?

Country: | Freebird never heard of those you listed. Here's a thought. Does anybody listen to NPR? Kinda get a handle on how the other half sees the world?
Stage I can see your point but you're tending to dismiss what the democrats also have done in regards to personnal failures and the like. I'm Republican/conservative because I agree with the ideals and concept of the party. Granted there are members in Congress and State gov. that make me cringe and get heated, but its still the party that I belive in.
I can't believe in a racist, socialist party. I would rather be judged as to who I am rather than what I am. The Democrat/Liberals only care about the latter. And that in itself is discrimination. But they'll never see that. And I don't like the notion that I can't do for myself, that I need the government to provide me with everything - as the Dems believe.

Country: | I don't think I will judge Rush on how many times he has been married. What does that have to do with morality? If I culled all my friends and relatives because of multiple marriages, I would not have many left and would have to get rid of myself. Nor would I call him a drug addict because he may have been hooked on pain killers. If you get past his hubris and the fact that his show is largely about entertainment, there is much valuable information there. Rush is very bright. One only has to use good judgment when listening to him. This morning is a good example of how our media either intentionally or through carelessness tries to mislead us. On NBC and CNN, I have heard talking heads say that on the fifth anniversary of the war in Iraq, there have been almost 4000 military KILLED in action. For the record, the KIAs number slightly over 3200. That is about a 25% exaggeration. Is that ignorance or mendacity on their part? I vote for they are liers. |

Country: | Hate to say it Joy - and even Rush will admit this - they're not news reporting, they are entertainement. I think that is what gets lost. Kinda like SNL Weekend Update only more real.

Country: | As I spend most of my time listening to the radio while driving between home and the airport, I'm more of an NPR type, with the occassional short-wave BBC or RadioFrance. I prefer being told what the news is , rather than having it dictated to me by people who feel more righteous than their fellow man.
Limbaugh is a man who can articulate his thoughts quite effectively and that is a quality I can definately admire, however, his defense of people like Ann Coulter (or Coultergeist as she is known) sickens me. I can also remember how he tried to equate the war in Iraq with the end of WW 2, stating something to effect that the occupying Allied forces also had to deal with massive German insurectionists movements. Laughable to say the least, but at times I do find him interesting.
On the other hand, O'Reilly is the most annoying of all. His obvious use of cherry-picking of the facts to fit his twisted worldy view is really nothing more than amatuerish propaganda. Boggles my mind that FoxNews actually pays this guy real money. Who can forget the time O'Reilly stating that the Malmedy Massacre was actually committed by US troops? Did he ever apologize/correct himself on that? Does he ever apologize for any of the things he got terribly wrong? Oh, and lastly, his anti-France boycott was a dismal failure and only exposed him as the 2-cent bigot he really is. He went so far as to create a fictitious publication to "support" his statements that the boycott was working. His collegue John Gibson is equally retarded.
Happy Easter everyone.

Of course the liberals dont see it that way.
