The Canadian Navy doesn't carry cruise missiles? Does the Canadian submarine force use the Jolly Roger for it's symbol?

Has it ever flown it after a 'kill' - the last time the Royal Navy flew it for a kill was after HMS Conquerer sank the Belgrano. But they also fly it after cruise missile launches these days. And if the Canadian ones don't have cruise missiles - then what?

You have to admit, it's a great symbol. In complete defiance of Royal Naval command who called submariners pirates.

We normally carry American Mk. 48 torpedos. The boats are capable of launching missiles, but they're not part of the standard fit.
As for the kill thing, it hasn't been done in a while.

well we could always fly one of our sea Kings over an enemy ship and wait for the engine to break down, that is if hasnt broken down before it got there.

It never actually served in any navy but ours. Not to mention the four "new" former British diesel submarines we presently have.
These days we can barely even manage to keep twelve frigates running at the same time, so how can you possibly think that we're even remotely as capable as the RN, USN, French Navy...? We don't even carry cruise missiles.
In terms of direct action, we had ships in the persian gulf in 91 didnt we?

We also had them there in 2001, but we didn't engage anyone. We've done tons of boardings and escort duties for larger American groups and such, but we haven't fired a shot in anger since Korea.

Wow, this is getting really heated up! Remind me not to piss you off again Les.

Hussar, i was a newbie once. I used to get pushed around by Les. I know you want to prove yourself and everything. But believe me, what you were doing was fighting a verbal war that you cant win.

Trust me. I have tried to act tough toward Les and even to Plan_D. You may win a battle but your going to lose the whole damn war if you keep this up.
