I dont know most of my true feelings about such topics I can not voice because certain people and I will not give names will blow it way out of proportion and then this will get out of hand.

NEWS UPDATE :

I just got the names of both humorists implied in the Scorpion Investigation. But due to an order from the Court, I can't say their name neither on radio or TV and I can't write it in a journal or even post them on a public forum. But I can PM, E-mail or say it in private to anyone who wish to know.

So if any of you wants to know who they are, PM me. However, I doubt you would know them because they are humorists from Québec.

I still don't know who are the politicians implied, though. If anyone knows, I'm interrested to hear it.

POINTING OUT :

The victims (the teenages prostitutes) were also arrested and taken to a "youth jail" in order to "protect" them from any other member of the street gang that could remain and the "customers" who were free until their trial. The worst part was that the victims had to pay a rent for that and were locked down with youngster convicts.

NEWS UPDATE :

The oldest victim (now aged 19) was arrested today for being the leader of a small network of teenage prostitution. Yes, an other teenage prostitution network has been dismantled in Québec City. At the same time where the mayor of the City, Jean-Paul Lallier, was saying : "There is no tennage prostitution network in Québec City."

That, added to the fact that some of the mayor's friends were arrested during the Scorpion Investigation makes me wonder... Why in the Hell isn't the Police of Québec City asking the RCMP to investigate the mayor ? Is it because there is a much bigger network all across the Province of Québec where politician "rent" young girls ? Or may be it is a network that spreads all across Canada ?

Or may be it's just because I'm a very imaginative writer... or a weirdo. You're the only judge.

There have been cases in the past of young girls being abducted in Halifax and turning up on the streets of Montréal, but I hadn't heard of any found in Québec City.
That doesn't mean it's never happened though I suppose.

Well, it almost happened. I remember a short while after the girls were taken to the "youth jail", a young one (15 years old) escaped and the police researched her during several weeks. They also published her picture in newspapers and at the TV. Normally, they don't do it for peoples under 18 years old, but the situation was critical : she had to show up at the Court room for the trials. Otherwise, all causes linked to her would have been abandoned.

Like I said, they found her just in time... In Montréal ! The Québec City's street gang called "Wolf Pack" wished to "sell" her to an other street gang in Montréal.

A few weeks later, a teenage prostitution network was also dismantled in Montréal. However, they never told us if it was the same street gang that I was talking about above.

Interresting Fact :

Like most of Wolf Pack's pimps were either Blacks or Arabs, some Québékers called that kind of prostitution : "La traite des Blanches" ("White Girls Sell", in English).

I guess my thought is that if it's going to be used

1. Iron clad proof is required, such as DNA. In some states over half the convicted were found innocent when DNA was used.
2. 1 appeal is allowed in the first 6 months and if that is turned down the execution will be within 3 months of that date. 1 year max from conviction and execution.
3. If both those cannot be met then its life without parol, period.

As was pointed out we waste too much time and resources on these cases. Do it or don't.

I agree however I think that if there is sufficient proof these ass holes should pay the price of a agonizing death.
