Country: | We have every right to complain pb... Just because we choose not to vote for some self serving meatballs doesn't mean that we don't care where our countries leadership takes us...
John Kerry was a lying ******* who dragged the good names of his fellow Navy Veterans through the 3 feet of **** at the bottom of the Dong Ha River....
George W Bush is probably the most insincere govt official Ive ever seen.... I didn't want my country run by either of them.... What do u expect me do do, vote for someone who doesn't deserve my vote????
BUL*****............

| LMMFAOROF.... Imagine where this country would be if Al Gore had actually not been cheated and became President...
While Bush is a puppet of his Daddy, Gore (inventor of the internet) was completely out of his mind in thinking that he could lead this country....
Christ, gunslinger Cheney would be a better pick than Gore...
Speaking of Cheney, my brother sent me this Easter wish from the Whitehouse....

Country: | I think Tricky Dicky was one of the best Presidents that took office, mainly for his brilliant handling of foreign relations.
People totally overlook the fact that he finally got the US out of the Vietnam war, and paved the way for detente with the USSR and China. And signed SALT1 to try and keep us from disappearing in a mushroom cloud.
Or indeed that he set up the EPA and was one of the first world leaders to proactively look at enviromental issues. Or the domestic social welfare reforms implimented - and on scientific advancement, his administration even started the space shuttle programme!
But no, all people remember the guy for was telling some porkies. Our politicians lie, and always will lie, it sometimes comes as a necessary part of the job, and maybe we'd get people in with more character and charisma nowadays if we were more accepting of the shortcomings that all our leaders undoubtably have.

Country: | I was a Republican for many years but working as a volunteer I found the party had no concern for the average citizen. For that reason, I saw the error of my ways and converted to the Democratic party in 1992. I can't see myself ever considering voting for another Republican.

Country: | Well, my opinion is that it's easy enough to complain about your government, but if you don't vote, you're not even taking the smallest, easiest step in having your say. Local government affects everyone a lot more than the federal government, and when the presidential elections come up, there will be local elections/issues on that ballot too, and it's important to vote for those. I am thankful that in my nation we have the right to vote, and I don't intend on wasting it.

Country: | crap, why bring up Kennedy and FDR the commie sympathizer ?
Tricky **** was just that. Nam sucked totally and what was to gain except the prestige of some idiot Trumann on saving the French from a major suicide followed by the inept Lyndon B. J. and then ski nose himself ? ........... what a rats nest the 60's and 70's were too early for me and a life changing experiences that have tainted my inner being. If your truly believe that any government is really concerned with your welfare then you go ahead and believe that myth.
sorry but modern day politics give me a terrible taste in my mouth |
