Country:  | Well I think they should be allowed. I would think it is much more difficult to shoot down an aircraft from a bomber than from a highly maneuverable fighter plane. I think they should be counted.

Country: | I can believe that, hartmann got all of his against aircraft and pilots that were not even the same level so it was easier for him. but none the less he was great.

Hartmann never ever got shot down in a dogfight with soviet fighters; never lost one single wingman, ever.
He crashed a few times during his first months of service, cant recall the exact number of times, and had to belly land once after receiving damage from soviet bombers.
