True on both - Mig-15 air conditioner? HA! you're lucky to have vents in that thing!!!

Actually there was a curved tube that ducted air into the cockpit. I attached a photo to show this. I've flown in the back seat of a Mig-15 UTI and I do remember when abrupt changes in altitude occured, condensation did build up in the cockpit, I believe the air in the duct system was being heated and cooled rapidly causing this to happen. When at lower altitudes and in the hot Mojave sun, this wasn't an issue
