1/48 Tamiya P-51B and RAF Mustang III

A small question, does these two kits, Tamiya 61042 and 61047, are the same and the only difference are the decals sheets?

Basically both the same kit, different decals. However, in both versions, the 'Malcolm' canopy is only provided in the closed position and, even if adapted, will not fit over the fuselage spine in the open position. A vac-form or home moulded canopy would therefore be required to pose the canopy open.
