Some more "13's" that I've found. Wilhelm Crinius one is the same as the one that you scanned NJ....

Both Yellow 13's are associated with Wilhelm Crinius and carry exactly the same style of '13' the first one is his mount from the Russian front in August 1942...I am currently building this aircraft also......painted and at the panel lines & Pastel stage.

...and just to annoy you Jan I have the kits and the markings to build Green, White and Black 13....

I wouldn't know brother Erich... I take your word over anything, so someone was high as a kite puffing away on some bad out of date pot, while doing this one then you say? Is the whole machine is something dreamed up in some pot affected dreams, together with John Lennon, Jim Morrison and the gang?

it's rather comical as it is suppose to be Werner Gerths black 13 of 11.Sturm/JG 3 taken a pic of while on A/F in July of 44. what they did do in the profile, I think was take JG 2 colors including the eagles head over the exhaust and put that over Werner's markings though the whole machine is goofed up.

Eagle Cals has the correct profile-decals I think; Neil P. and I did up his machine long ago on our debunked thanks to dog-poop, stupid AOL web site............

Arrow

they have at least one sheet of 11/14th staffel and 10th staffel Sturmbocks- 4 on a page, the camo is all over grey but the white fuselage band is pronounced plus the ~ marking over the band - can't miss em

yes the second one and here is the pic. Gerths Black 13 later had the outboard 2cm removed and replaced by 3cm Mk 108's and a newer up to date paint job, most likely this thing was shot down later or junked due to over-commitment in battle

Great pic Erich, thanks a bunch! Makes you wonder though, where on earth did they get the red from? Back to Bartels, G-10, would the "13" look more like this one then, Uffz. Klaus Lambio, in styling you think?

Gerth? I would have said some color-blind SOB was trying to do Bar's 'Red 13" and got alittle confused?

Got the decals today for two more "13's". The "Yellow 13" from 15./JG53 as the info tells on the EagleCals sheet, 10th March '45, Koblenz, Germany, W. Nr. Unknown and Pilot Unknown.

Among these were this set.... As you can see Dan, it has been done in 1/48 of the machine that you like of Bartels, 48-383, different style on the numerals though, questions is, those oddly shaped round ones, are they correct? If you want to do her in 32 scale I'd guess that the number would 32-383, right fellas?

Now, is this the same 109F-4 that he flew with JG5 in Petsamo in Finland as the other two F-4's that we've seen here with W. Nr. 13169?

The funny thing is though, that this Aeromaster sheet comes without the decals so you don't get the white border around the "13". Doesn't matter, if we can figure out what style this F-4 had, I'll just get the FCM numerals etc. to do this one, IF these three are all the same "13169"....
