airfix whirlwind fighter re release ? - Aircraft of World War II

Hi All,
Anyone know much about this, presumably it is the 2nd moulding ( circa '77 ?)
Any new decals or bits in the box ?

Sorry Jerry, I haven't seen the kit, but I can only guess it'll be a re-issue of the original 1960's kit, with, at best, decals for the two squadrons which used the Whirlwind. At least the decals should be reasonable quality and, from what I remember from 40+ years ago, the overall shape was fairly accurate and looked 'right'. Personally, I think the price being asked is a little steep, as the paints etc can really be disgarded, and I'd tend to look for the kit as an individual item if it's availble as such. If I find out any more, I'll let you know.
