    ok fella's i've started a 1/48 P-38 J and have the tally ho decals for P-38, one of which is 94th Ftr Sq, 1st FG at Foggia. P-38J 42-104114 old rusty flown by CAPT Warren G. Campbell.
    the only refs i have are the decal's instruction sheet and wonder if any body has anything else on this bird as i've found nothing in five books and a web search !

    Ozhawk beat me to it! I had the same photo from a net search. Good luck... great looking P-38. NMF, hmmm. Traditional paints, Alclad II or foil?

    thanks Peter, colour picture is excellent !

    mrf17 i'll be useing Humbrol enamel paint no 11 metallic silver in fact and i wil pick out a few panels in the same company's metallic aluminum, (the no escapes me at the minute) to give a bit of contrast.
    a tip i got from a couple of members of this forum.
