Danes in WW2

I stole the idea from Jan's thread, and then I found this page:
Danish WW2 Pilots | Remembering the Danish Pilots of WW2
I think that making a model of one of Kaj Birksted's three Spitfires could be interesting.

Some danish Spitfires:

Gunnery practice on the east coast of Jutland.

41-407.

422 in the field carrying the marking "Arrigtrolden", which is the Danish word for a "spitfire".

A low-back Mk. IXE fitted with a 90 gallon long-range slipper tank.

Sheer beauty.

Nice pics - love the one of the low flying gunnery practice! BTW, the low back is a MkXVIe.

They all are.

The first colour photo looks like HF.IXe 41-407, ex PL375 of Eskadrille 725, Karup 1951.

Below HF.IXe 41-422, ex RR252, 5 Eskadrille Karup 1951-52.

Cannot see the serial on the low-back, possibly HF.IXe ex TE296 reserialed 41-436.

A Carlsberg Special Brew? That'd be just dandy! I don't a similar Tuborg either....
