P38 RC Help Needed

Hello,

Total newbie here so please be gentle!

I have acquired a RC P38 Lightning "Joltin Josie" - this is a few years old and requires a complete strip-down and rebuild, if nothing else than of the entire paint!

Here's my dilemma - do I keep the paint job as is (the easy option) or do I opt for something much more daring and unique.



I know that there were at least 15 RAF squadrons during WWII which used the P38, trouble is I cannot find any photographs of them on the net.

If anyone has seen any or can help at all with the subject of my latest rc adventure, I would be most grateful,
