OK if I am understanding this correctly, the article is reporting that late war testing of the H2X radar bombing system showed that its CEP was at best 5 miles , but could be used in any weather. USSBS claims that the average CEP of USAFF day light bombing was 750m, but given the above reports I wonder how accurate that claim was?

I recall reading an artical perhaps a decade old , showing that USAAF was testing bombing accuracy in WW-II American to establish guidelines to predict accuracy. This modern review of this data and new examination of the area revealed that the early measurements were themselves off by a sigificant amount since the scatter of the bombs ended up being much larger than calculated. I kick myself for not archiving the article
