Hi. Not sure this is the correct place but I'm sure the forum administrator will correct it of not.

Can any one tell me what is the correct colour Green for a Mk 9 spitfire Cockpit. and what the humbrol or similar number is.

Meany thanks Stuart.

ANA 625 RAF Interior Green or cockpit green ( FS 34226 ).It was a matt paint.
There numbers of enamels.

Humbrol - 78
Gunze Sangyo - 70
Xtracolor - X10
Lifecolor - UA060
Pactra - A117

regards,

Here's the real deal. Instead of trying for a color code from a model paint mfg, I would try to match the photo by mixing my own if i wanted to get that accurate....

Just a suggestion....

Hi All, Thanks for the Pictures the cockpit is in a 1/7th Radio controlled plane so its not going to be that detailed.

Kend Regards
Stuart.

the model is only 1:48 scale, so i dont need too much detail, but it is helpful to see the brass knob to the right under the instrument panel, and the orange and red switch and dial (respectively), these are nice details which i can add and give a nice touch to the panel in the cockpit

The colour on those retored aircraft is pretty good but beware of modern harnesses and head rests!
Here's an original sample of the interior colour revealed by the removal of a data plate on an unrestored example.
