| Not really. France typically has never been really reallly really successful. Yeah they have won the World Cup a few times, but overall they have not been as successful internationally such as teams like Brazil, Italy and Germany. For instance at the Euro 2008 they did not even make it out of the group stage. They are still a good team though, and I hope they progress to the World Cup. I would rather see them in it than Italy (they all ready qualified though...).

| Alot of unhappy Irish lads in our facility today... Didn't see the game myself, but it seems glaringly obvious from the still that Henry put his hand to the ball BBC Sport - Football - Irish ask Fifa for France replay |

| Henry has admitted to using his hands on purpose. Ireland has requested the game to be replayed and FIFA is going to investigate the matter. I really hope they let them replay the game. In my opinion Ireland outplayed them and what Henry did was a real low blow. In my opinion the referee should not be allowed to officiate a game again and Henry should be banned from playing in the 2010 World Cup if France were to win the replay (of course this is if FIFA even lets them replay the game).
