| Sorry to say this is nothing new Doughboy. It just seems to be getting more notice these days. Different sport but he had disasterous results from his use of steroids. Lyle Alzado - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I don't condone it but I don't know how it is going to be stopped. Not as long as mangement knows about it and turns a blind eye to it just to win some games. Wheels

| Nothing to be sorry about Doughboy. You didn't know and I wasn't trying to correct you just inform. The media makes this seem like a new thing when it's not. Some form of it has been going on for longer than I have been alive too. It's a sad day when you learn your "heroes" may/probably have cheated. Keep posting what is news to you, others may not know. | Well, it would explain his size. Sadly, this isn't the first time a major league player has used steroids, sure as H#ll won't be the last.

| Couple of things about steroids..... 1) Jose Canseco's book was accurate. 2) I never want to see any juice head make the Hall of Fame (A-Rod, Manny, Bonds, Clemens, etc.). 3) I will never recognize any "record" set by a steroid user. In my eyes, Hank Aaron (755) and Roger Maris (61) still hold the career and season HR records. 4) Science has got to come up with a test for HGH. 5) MLB has got to test every player multiple times a season and make the consequences tougher (1st offense, suspended for 162 games, 2nd offense, banned for life.
