I didn't see much talk about the World Series here but...

WE WON!!!!

The Phillies are World Champions!! 2d time in 126 years, first championship for the city in 25 years!! WooHooo!!!!

Some cool things.....

Phillies won in '80
and now they won in '08

Tug McGraw threw the last pitch to win in '80.
His number was 45.

Brad Lidge threw the last pitch to win in '08.
His number is 54.

Now lets go Eagles, Flyers and Sixers!!!

The Sixer's...........not since Mr. Erving left. I've hated them ever since that walking plague Alan Iverson played for them.

Great game! Well, for one spread over 50 or so hours. Probably makes it the longest playoff game in history.

Had a blast watching it. Was in a bar and when they won, everyone went nutz. All the locals came out on the street for a general good time. Fun time for all.

However, today I paid for it in a big way. Hungover in a big way. Painful.
