| The Don Turns 100 The great batsman that was Sir Donald Bradman turned 100 the other day. Truly magnificent player, admired by all. Allan Massie: A century on from his birth and Bradman remains way out in a class of his own - The Scotsman

| Agreed, the greatest batsman to take the crease! Read the other day there was someone checking his innings records and claims to have discovered 4 runs not credited to him, that would take his average to the 100 mark? I guess time will tell....if there is any truth in it.

| Yeah won't change his official average even if the runs existed. A relative told me he thinks the Don had tears in his eyes for his last innings and thats why he got knocked over for a duck. Bit of urban myth I think but still a nice story.
