And I did not reallly need proof about my post right above this one about the 49ers not doing good in the preseason, but thanks to them for the 34-0 loss to the Broncos yesterday to prove my point.

Our backups suck. If we have any significant injuries we are screwed.

The Redskins versus Browns game was moving slowly with RGIII but Cousins has been put in and the game is moving forward now...at the end of the third quarter, the Skins lead over the Browns: 14 - 3

I have really become disenchanted with the business side of the NFL. Their latest antics with asking musicians to pay to play the halftime show is just too much for me. It is the finance side of professional sports that ruined it for me with baseball and hockey. Now football can be added to this. Ridiculous.

Sad to say, Eric, but all professional sports are sellouts for the sake of money.

We saw recently with the world cup, how promotion over fairness can effect a game. Even NASCAR has been stung by commercialism with the hard promotion of Danica Patrick and while it's great that a woman is trying to be competitive in the sport, she has done nothing so far, that other women in the sport have done already. Even a few years back, when she was at the Indy500, the news people were going on and on about her and never once mentioned the other 5 women in the race...one of which was Milka Duno. If memory serves right, that was also the race where Lynn St. James and Janet Guthrie attended and the media ignored them and chased after Patrick...

I think 8-8 is selling us short. Even in its current state the D is better than most D's.
