| Team colours.... Just been watching some rugby down at the local pick up joint Why does the New Zealanders and the Australian have the colours they do? I don't see black or green/yellow in their national flags, please do explain... I am NOT gonna tell you how long or how many times I had correct myself here.

| Senior Member | New Zealanders don't play for New Zealand, they play for the All Blacks No idea about Australia. England match was a pile of cr*p but it wasn't as bad as the first match of the tour

| Senior Member | Happens quite a lot, although I've no idea why. Our football team wears blue shorts, Italy wear blue shirts in rugby and football, Germany white and so on. At a club level it's often to do with the club's founder or inital backer. They would often play in his racing or lucky colours. Not sure about national teams though |

| Australia is green and gold because of the Golden Wattle, which is our national floral emblem....I think
