    Geez, it said he was soon to be a father too. It is very sad...especially if there were parts of that last hour that could so easily have prevented this. It's really not fair to guess without many facts but I am thinking there was likely some macho-posturing crap that started, or worsened that altercation.

    It is a different world out there than it was when I was in college in the 50s. Back then, guys would get in fist fights and get drunk and disorderly but I cannot remember anyone in that era that got knifed and killed. A lot of that stuff goes on now. The worst thing I can remember happening was a football player was trying to steal final exams, got caught by a professor anf the player beat up the professor.
