What about you? Though I think it would be something special to play against Turkey as there are I guess 4 million Turks in Germany I´d like so see Germany playing against Croatia once again...
BTW, Willi is doing well... | I am really torn here.
I would love for Turkey to win tonight so that Germany can send them home next week.
However I really hope that Croatia wins for 2 reasons:
1. So that Germany can get revenge and send them home. Germany will not lose to Croatia twice.
2. Because if Turkey loses to Germany there will be big problems here. There will be violence started by the Turkish youth.
It is only a game, we do not need to see such disgraceful acts. Quote:

(look at the video you posted, there is a clear replay around minute 4) | I know it happened. Like I said the officiating was terrible. The main reason why it did not bother me that Ballack was not called on that goal, was because of the fact that a blind eye was turned to so much allready... Quote:

I think we are talking about two different events right now.
Anyhow here are some pics I took at the public viewing last night. Nothing spectacular though (I was too into watching the game to take pics.)

Well I was talking about situation when German player just stepped on Ronaldo foot (he was lying and crying and the game was stopped), I don't know if it was on purpose or not, I said about it because for me it looked like something very bad live during the game. But right now it doesn't matter.
Croatia and Turkey, what an ending to a quite boring game... |

Country: | Well Germany will be playing Turkey in the Semi Finals next week.
Turkey beat Croatia 3-1 in a penelty shoot out.
It was a rather boring game actually. Neither side looked very good, and could not take advantage of there scoring oportunities. The game was tied 0-0 at end of regulation and went to the standard overtime of two 15 minute halfs.
With 2 minutes left in the last overtime (118th minute) Croatia broke the tie and went up 1-0. That should have pretty much been the winning goal. Nope...
With only seconds left in the extra time (120 minutes + 1 minute) Turkey scores and ties the game 1-1.
Croatia was terrible in penelty kicks and completely missed two kicks all together and the last one was blocked by the Turkish keeper.

Country: | Well it has allready started. This is what I am afraid of happening next week after the game between Turkey and Germany. "Police and first aid workers said more than a dozen Croatian fans needed medical treatment after Turkish supporters attacked them in the final minutes of the match. The violence erupted in the main fan zone next to Vienna’s City Hall. No major injuries were reported." Turkey reaches semifinals on penalties - World Soccer - Yahoo! Sports

| What's the reason for all this violence by the Turkish supporters ?? I really don't get it.

Yes
Most problems (and I am not saying that they are all like this) are caused by inner city youth and they come from regions such as Turkey and Eastern Europe.
In my area alone the two worst areas the main down town area which has a lot of Turks and the Dinkelsbuehl Area which actually has a strong Russian Mafia presense.
A friend of mine, who is a youth social worker can not even go into the Dinkelsbuehl area without Police escort.
Don't take me wrong though. It is not that bad over here. I feel very safe living over here.

I watched footage of it on the news and saw the press conference about this morning.
After the Croatians scored the first goal, the Croatian fans were attacked by Turkish fans. Once Turkey equalized the score the violance was able to be put down by the Polizei. Later in the Fan Meile the Turkish fans were attacked by Croatian fans.
I understand that emotions are high, but there is no need for violence.
In Germany we actually have a pretty big problem with violence involving Turks and Eastern Europeans. I hate to say it, but it is the truth.
Friends of mine have allready stated they will watch the game at home, instead of a viewing point, out of fear of violence if Turkey loses the game.
The German government even recognizes this problem and the Polizei will be out in full force next week. Turkey is even sending 500 Turkish Police to help the German Polizei in areas such as Berlin Kruezberg which has a large Turkish population.

| What a nice fresh team this Russians!
3-1 to Holland and nothing to say about it, I was told that they were playing well (didn't watch their matches before) but I was not expecting to this extent.
Bravo!
