Top work Ian, Well done.

So, is it going to remain yours...? or is it moving to a new home?

Thanks ian. Having spent nearly an hour looking at the thread, the first thing I have to say is 'Well Done!' You made a great job out of what seems to be a b***h of a kit!
The second thing I'll say is, I've now got nearly an hours worth of reasons why NOT to get this kit! Such a shame, as a decent Halifax in 48th scale would be most welcome, and the reviews (unbuikt) have been good. Very misleading, going off the kit contents etc. As I mentioned earlier, i think I'd rather have two of the new Tamiya Lancs, than one FM Halifax; I'll have to consider down-scaling the proposed Halifax diorama, and try it in 1.72nd scale. Thanks again Ian, you've been a great help.
Terry.

I just read through it all, a very absorbing read, and an excellent end result.

Do you know guys i haven't look through the posts properly and there seems to be a few pictures
of the building which has gone, shame really as its a interesting build of a shitty kit which turned out fine.

This model was for someone but has since turned it down so it now still resides in my home.

Heres the finished job, though some pictures there are missin too

What gets me with the so called 'owner to be' he wanted it as his Dad's aircraft and with the aid of a few B/W pictures i completed it, not as if this bloke was short of money he isn't as he has three single prop aircraft and a chopper and resides at Pocklington himself.

I had gave him a price of the model when finished and was happy with it and i kept him updated with 'in-build pictures' of it and was really excited about it.
When i finally finished it i rang him and his wife said he doesn't want to talk to me about the model and no-longer wants it, talk about being let down big time

Anyway alls not lost i've got a really nice Halibag to myself
