| Excellent work Ron. I'm still looking for some pictures for you. The only ones I've found so fsar are not very clear, and i doubt they'll be of any use, but I'm sure I've got some better ones somewhere!

| And again we made some progress whit this bird I have completed the hull whit all the panneline's and rivit's it was a hell of a job but whell worth the efford if i my say so myself. The tail is finnished two all the controle surface's are cut off and placed in an angel i always do that to the models it make them look better in my view. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() All the dark spots that you c is secgleu cus i had to corect some pannellines that where no good it took a few hours Next up was the wing i have dry fitted it to c if the angel and position of the wing is overall good seems ok by me. The next thing i have started with was cutting of the flaps on the main wing this was not to hard to do only need some patience and a steady hand ![]() ![]() The thing whit this kinda work is when you take your time it saves you allot of sanding after i cleaned the parts i test fitted it to the hull. ![]() ![]() The flap dissapeares in the engine cowling so i have to thinn that out so it fits nicely that's gonna take some time, and i have to sand an angel into the wing so that the flaps can hang from the inside of the wing. I took a peace of 3 mm styrene to the back of the wing and gleu it in place so that the wing root is nice and fluss whit the hull next step is marking the lines for the angel inside the wing. Regards Ron |

| Great work Ron. If you can let me know what you need in the way of pictures or colour profiles for a G2, I'll know what to look for, and get something posted.

| Sorry for the delay but here are some progress pics bout what i have done so far. Landing gear scratch made. ![]() Next job was to fix the wings whit pannellines and rivvits. ![]() ![]() ![]() Note the landing gear bay is scratched, more detaille added later. ![]() For the refference i used this book it also came whit decals ![]() ![]() Next job was the engine bays they where not correct so i had to adjust them. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Landing gear almost finished ![]() ![]() This is how the engine looks now muts beter in my opinion. Next job was the Props they where not correct as the version iam making is the G2, the props on this plane are muts bigger then the ones that are in the kit. So i made some myself. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is the second set i made the first ones didint seem correct. these are the old props i dident use, as you can c there are no round holes in the spinners and the new ones do. ![]() This was the update so far iam bussy whit a groupbuild spanishcivilwar so this project is on hold for a while, so it will be a while for the next update. PS my english is not that good as you can c sorry for that, iam learning. Ron |

| Ron, that's absolutely amazing. Your scratchbuilding work is top notch man. Watch those Kagero references and make sure the profile you're going to build is backed up by photos. Don't believe the captions. I bought the axact same two books because they included decals but found that the profiles mixed up the variants and that many of the picture captions were bogus. Great build though and looking forward to seeing more. |
