seeing that the flying blenheim in the uk is being restored again from a mk 4 to a mk1 i thought it would be fun to build both to compare the models

    1st the mk1 by frog
    2nd the m4 by airfix

These might help you Bob, taken at DX this year and two years ago. First, the Mk1 as it looked in May, second, the cockpit and nose from the MkIV. The cockpit area was basically the same on both.

progress so far over 5 nights, the mk1 had the lower cockpit glass missing from the front so i will have to remake this,as there are not many parts they have gone together very quickly but plenty of detailing work now going into the cockpits,

    thanks for looking

Despite the issues you seem to be making headway. Having recently built the Airfix I can say comfortably that it is a dog of a kit. Are you going to fix the engine nacells? They are to long and thin.

I have a MPM Mk 1 from back when we did the Battle of Britain GB. I must get back to it some time soon. I look forward to seeing more of your progress.

A nice progress to both of these models Bob. Looking very good.

I have noticed you were using the Revell glue in a tube. You might try to the same glue but in the special container which makes its applying much comfortable.

Looking forward to the progress...a great aircraft but just a little late. If war had come earlier?

In memory of Flt Lt Tony Hill who, on 5 December 1941, at the request of Doctor R V Jones, successfully photographed a small "Würzburg radar" at Bruneval on the French coast. This from a height of only 200 ft, at high speed, under fire and from a camera mounted obliquely behind the cockpit.
