Dual A6M Zero build

Seems everyone's building Zero's right now so I thought I'd join in the fun

Starting yesterday

Using the horrible revell kit and quite alot better hasegawa kit ( supplied by Wayne - thanks mate!)

Revell kit will be the A6M5 Variant ( green sorta scheme , gonna need help with that) and the hasegawa kit will be an A6M2 ( white scheme as per the last pic)

Builds going on hold for a 'few' days til I get my workbench sorted out ,just thought I'd show ya what I've done to date

Very cool. I like the idea of building two of the same models at the same time. I might have to give that a try sometime soon

Nice choice, 109ROAMING!

I miss this old style lettering(below) 'Zero Sen(Zero Fighter)'.
When I was a boy, I saw this lettering on comic books many times.

Such calling 'Zero Sen' was once said established in the postwar as it is American style but
Saburo Sakai admitted he and his comrades were already using 'Zero Sen' during the war when the formal calling is 'Rei Sen.
Good choice

Nice work Daniel, looking good.
That's interesting information Shinpachi - a relative told me many years ago, when I was very young(!), that the Japanese had also called the aircraft 'Zero Sen', even though it was thought that the term had originated in America post war. Good to know he was right nearly half a century later!
