During an R&R in Hong Kong in 68 I was sitting in a bar listening to an old gentleman who said he flew Spits during the BofB. It sounded so exciteing I wasn't sure if he was just blowing smoke until another gentleman overheard the tales and pulled up a chair and the two began what was to be one of the most entertaining nights of my life. It seems this gent flew Hurricanes and they began to clarify each others tales,telling of shooting down Stukas and other episodes. I'll never forget the night spent listening and wish I had been able to record the whole thing.
