Angry B17 Start

Am new to B17. Using the checklist in the handbook. Looking for " Prop governor gauge" ( Upper right hand corner). Cannot find it. Help.

I think if I understand your question correctly the gauge you are looking for is called the tachometer. See picture below. Step 12 Check propeller governor at 1500 rpm by moving control to low rpm.

Thanks Micdrow for your info. Unfotunately incorrect. Finally found it.
Co-Pilot panel. Multi-colored gauge upper right indicating prop control for various flight conditions.

Thats cool, Im going to have to dig up a color photo of a B-17 cockpit. I don't see it in the pilots manual drawing. Then again I just noticed that the pilots manual gauge layout compared to the erection and maintance manual have two different arrangements
