Need help with a B-17G parts identification

    Hello,

a friend of mine gave me some parts yesterday. They all belonged to the B-17G.
Could anyone help me with their identification please?

    Part1:
Just my 2 cents but it might be a part of some moving part, either from the wing or tail section.

Thank you very much in advance!

    Hi Roman -

The stamp with the "ANA" is actually a "North American Aircraft" (NAA) inspection stamp. Are you sure this item is from a B-17 wreck? It might be possible that NAA built this component as a sub-tier to Boeing, Lockheed or Douglas.

Hi Joe, I was told so. B-17G 42-32048. But nothing is 100% sure.

That part is actually off a Mustang Seesul! I would be delighted to fit it on my Mustang 'Damm Yankee'!!

Part number 109-334040 is the hydraulic parking brake compensator that goes on the firewall.....

As I said, nothing is 100% sure. Iīll speak to the guy who gave it to me. Should he want it back as it is from P-51, he will get it. If not, itīs yours. But no promise, as I said, I gotta ask my friend first.
