Masters of the Air

The long awaited series began last night, the preflight and engine start sequences gave me goosebumps, the battle damaged Forts and combat segments were chilling.. Comparing to Band of Brothers, which is unfair, ground action can be recreated with little CGI, air action requires much CGI, the thing I miss so far are the Veterans speaking in each episode as was done in Band of Brothers, but that was 20 years ago and sadly there aren't that many Veterans from WWII still with us, which is a realization all it's own.

I don't know, I have a bad feeling about this series... There seemed to be more build up for the other two series, even this far out. The preview pictures are underwhelming. It moving from HBO to Apple. The long gestation period. I hope I'm wrong. Either that or I'm drunk!
